Begin bij het dagelijkse werk

Niet bij de tool, maar bij een concreet intern proces waar kwaliteit, tijdverlies of kennisoverdracht een rol speelt. Daar zit meestal de eerste praktische winst.

Advieskantoor: van zoeken naar een dagelijkse werktool

Bij een gespecialiseerd advieskantoor met meer dan 50 professionals bleek een intern kennisproces de meest logische plek om te beginnen. Adviseurs zochten handmatig in CAO’s, regelgeving en interne kennisdocumenten, met wisselende kwaliteit en veel tijdverlies als gevolg.

AI is hier ingezet als betrouwbare kennisassistent met bronverwijzing, dossierstructuur en audit trail. Niet als losse demonstratie, maar als onderdeel van de dagelijkse werkwijze - van junior adviseur tot partner.

Het resultaat: een toepassing die dagelijks wordt gebruikt en een werkbare basis biedt voor verdere AI-inzet binnen de organisatie.

Slimme Dossiers: voorbeeld van een verantwoorde AI-aanpak

In Slimme Dossiers heb ik de principes van verantwoorde AI vertaald naar een werkend platform voor kennisintensieve omgevingen. Duidelijke bronverwijzing, kwaliteitskaders, audit trail en een expliciete rolverdeling tussen mens en AI zijn daarin architectonisch verankerd.

Dat is geen verplichte eindoplossing voor elke organisatie, maar wel een concreet voorbeeld van hoe ik AI in een organisatie benader: niet als black box, maar als onderdeel van een kennisproces waar de organisatie grip op houdt.

Het resultaat: een heldere standaard voor hoe verantwoord starten met AI er concreet uitziet.

Advisory firm: from searching to a daily work tool

At a specialised advisory firm with more than 50 professionals, an internal knowledge process proved to be the most logical place to start. Advisors were manually searching through collective labour agreements, regulations, and internal knowledge documents, which led to inconsistent quality and significant time loss.

AI was introduced here as a reliable knowledge assistant with source citations, dossier structure, and an audit trail. Not as a stand-alone demonstration, but as part of the daily way of working, from junior advisor to partner.

The result: an application that is used every day and provides a workable foundation for further AI deployment across the organisation.

Slimme Dossiers: an example of a responsible AI approach

In Slimme Dossiers, I translated the principles of responsible AI into a working platform for knowledge-intensive environments. Clear source citations, quality standards, an audit trail, and an explicit division of roles between people and AI are embedded in the architecture.

This is not a mandatory end solution for every organisation, but it is a concrete example of how I approach AI in an organisational setting: not as a black box, but as part of a knowledge process that remains under organisational control.

The result: a clear standard for what it means in practice to start with AI responsibly.
